In your case, the car belongs to your " houshold goods", and the procedure to register it, is not so difficult - ask the TÜV engineer about this.
The only problem is - if you ever want to sell the car over here...forget it :-) Cause this "houshold good" § applies only for you, not for the buyer. He can´t register the car this easy way.
If you want to go the hard way....buy a other car here in Germany, cause I think you will have no chance with this LPG system - impossible to get the necessary papers.

As I said: the only chance is, to handle it as "Umzugsgut" -then you - and only YOU! - are allowed to register it wihtout all the papers needed otherwise.
EU is EU, but you´r in Germany now :-) Everything is extraordinary special complicaded unusual difficult and expensive :-) But by far not better....

 

Ask at the TÜV. Tell them, that you took the car with you while moving from Portogese to Germany.
Had the same case with a customer moving from USA to Germany. Same problems like you with his car, a VW Routan. No chance to register it cause VW says the car was not designed for Europe, so no EMV, no Emission certificate usw
But for the owner himself as "Umzugsgut" the regulations are much more relaxed.

Jupp, da wurde nix großartig verlangt, keine EMV, kein Abgas, gar nix. Nur wenn er das Auto in D verkaufen möchte, hat der Käufer ein Problem - er kann es nicht zulassen, da für ihn diese Regelung nicht gilt. Einzige Möglichkeit - bei dem Routan - zurück nach USA.
VW hat klip und klar gesagt: Nicht für Europa gedacht, gibts keine Papiere für-Punkt.
Man muss nur einen TÜV Prüfer finden, der sich mit der Geschichte auskennt.
Und Leute - nu nicht auf die Idee kommen : Möönsch, so könnt ich ja meine Karre XY in D zulassen..... Geht halt nur, wenn man aus dem Ausland hier her zieht, und das Fz eben als Umzugsgut mitbringt. Es wird dann allerdings idR Euro 1 eingestuft da man ja meist nicht nachweisen kann, das eine bessere Schadstoffklasse erreicht würde
